Dear Library Community:
To help ensure the continued health of our staff and of the Union community, we will be closed Wednesday the 18th of March.
Before we reopen to the public we will be performing a “deep clean” of the library building.
As we receive further information regarding the containment of Covid-19, we will continue to evaluate the best way to serve the community in a safe and healthy way. We will continue to monitor our email account and check our phone messages, so if you have any questions please feel free to reach out either at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 860-684-4913.
Remember that you may access free online e-books, movies, and audio books by logging in to the online catalogue using the number on your library card. Electronic resources are accessed through two platforms: Libby (aka Overdrive) and Hoopla. If you are accessing these platforms on your phone or tablet, you will need to download the free app through your app store. Links to these platforms will open right from the Union Library website, under the “Catalogue” drop-down menu.
Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to reopen soon!
Sincerely, Librarian Cailin Rae
