Come hear Union resident and Land Steward for Norcross Wildlife Sanctuary, Ethan Smith, discuss our special corner of New England.

Ethan has worked at Norcross for the past 15 years. He is responsible for maintaining, and has intimate knowledge of the sanctuary’s 8000+ acres! Ethan will share a little of Norcross history, current projects such as a prescribed fire on a parcel in Monson, invasive plant management, stream and wetlands connectivity, and the forest legacy and conservation easement programs.  These programs are ways for landowners to retain ownership of their property while protecting woodlands from development.

This is a “Coffee and Conversation” program, hosted at the Union Town Hall Community Room.
